Tim Tebow

Timothy Richard Tebow (/'ti:boU/ born on 14 August 1987) is an American football player who is a free agent. Tebow was a quarterback during three previous seasons of the National Football League (NFL), most notably the Denver Broncos. Tebow played his college football at Florida and was the first player of his age to take home the Heisman Trophy and led his team to two BCS National Championship victories in 2007 and 2009. Tebow was selected by the Broncos in the first round of their selection during the 2010 NFL Draft. He became their quarterback of choice during the 2011 season. His stint helped the team that was struggling get their first divisional title and their first playoff victory in 2005. But questions about the future prospects of Tebow led to him being traded to the New York Jets the next offseason. He spent one year there as a reserve. 6. Tebow was not chosen for the rosters for either the New England Patriots or Philadelphia Eagles. He then pursued an amateur baseball career with the New York Mets from 2016 until 2021. Seven years after the baseball player retired, Tebow returned to the NFL as a tight end with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but was removed after a preseason game.
