Myrka Dellanos

 Dellanos was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 27 May 1965. She graduated from the University of Miami in 1986 with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism. Myrka was the host of Univision's Primer Impacto (First Impact) in 1992 her first big break. From 1992 until 2004, Dellanos was co-host of Primer Impacto. In 2004, she was named the "Star of the Year" by People en Espanol readers. Dellanos was also the host of the celebrations held at the White House of Hispanic Heritage Month. Dellanos was also named by President George W. Bush to the Freedom Corps, which is an organization of 25 individuals who collaborate to support charitable causes. In the following years, Dellanos shifted her focus on humanitarian and social service causes, such as aiding the children who are orphaned as well as victims of domestic violence.
