Tony Robbins

 Robbins was born Anthony J. Mahavoric in North Hollywood, California, on February 29th 1959. Robbins was the third oldest of his three children, was born to parents who divorced when they were seven years of age. He has Croatian heritage from both sides of his family.His mother later remarried numerous times, including a marriage with Jim Robbins, a former semi-professional baseball player who legally adopted Anthony at the age of 12.Robbins attended Glendora High School. While in the high school years, Robbins grew ten inches within a single year, which was later linked to the pituitary tumor.He claims that his life at home was "chaotic" and "abusive". When he was 17 years old, he left his home and did not return. Robbins later worked as a janitor. He didn't go to college. One day he asked the property's landlord, who was a friend of the family about how he was so successful. The landlord then told him that he started to turn his life around following going to an Jim Rohn seminar.
