Rulin was also part of the cast of High School Musical, High School Musical 2 and High School Musical 3 Senior Year. Her credits include the Disney Channel original films Halloweentown High and The Poof Point and The Hounded. She also appeared on the Disney Channel original series Everwood as well as the feature films Forever Strong and Mobsters and Mormons and Work This Out. Rulin was in High School Musical 3 Senior Year as Kelsi Nielsen. She also played an additional role , and sang three songs together with Lucas Grabeel. Rulin was co-starring alongside Billy Ray Cyrus in 2009's drama film Flying By. In 2010, Rulin also starred alongside Heather Locklear and Cloris Leachman in the film Expecting Mary.
