Kelly Reilly

Reilly sent an email to Prime Suspect producers to request work. Helen Mirren played the lead in Prime Suspect. A few months later, she auditioned for a role in "Prime Suspect 4: Inner Circle", which aired on ITV on May 7, 1995. In the following year, she appeared in an episode of the Carlton UK television period drama series Bramwell as a troubled young woman. Six years later, Mirren starred alongside her in Last Orders. She was then offered a variety of roles on the English stage. She appeared in four stage productions that were performed by Terry Johnson: Elton John's Glasses (1997), The London Cuckolds (1998), The Graduate (2000), and Piano/Forte (2006). 7 Johnson wrote Piano/Forte and stated she was a huge fan of Kelly. "Reilly said that Karel Reisz was the person who taught her the most about acting. He was her director in The Yalta Game, Dublin 2001. She stated, "He was my masterclass. It's impossible to imagine how I could have had the chance to do Miss Julie if I hadn't done that play. "By 2000, Reilly felt she was being typecast in comedy roles and sought an acting role as the young Amy in Last Orders, directed by Fred Schepisi. [6] She was then offered a part in Royal Court's 2001 reruns of Sarah Kane’s Blasted. The Times called her "theatrical Viagra". In 2002, Reilly starred alongside Audrey Tautou and Romain Duris as Wendy who was an English Erasmus student in the French comedy L'Auberge Spanishe (The Spanish Apartment). She reprised her part in the sequel of 2005, Les Poupees russes (Russian Dolls) and the follow-up in 2013, Casse-tete chinois (Chinese Puzzle). In 2005, Reilly also appeared in films such as Mrs Henderson Presents (Russian Dolls) and Pride & Prejudice.
