Hulk Hogan

 Hogan began his professional career as a wrestler in 1977. He was then signed to World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) in 1983. In the WWE, his image as an all-American hero helped usher in the 1980s professional wrestling boom, where he headlined eight of the nine initial editions of WWF's flagship annual event, WrestleMania. He won the WWF Championship five more times in his first stint. His second run was the longest championship run in history. He was the first wrestler in history to have consecutive wins in Royal Rumble matches. He won them both in 1991 and 1990. His match with Andre the Giant on WWF The Main Event on February 5, 1988 is still the most watched match on American television's highest viewership record for wrestling, with a 15.2 Nielsen rating and 33 million viewers.In 1993, Hogan departed the WWF to join the rival promotion World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Hogan has the record for longest duration and has took home the WCW World Heavyweight Championship six more times. He had a comeback in his career in 1996, when he took on the character of the villainous "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and led the New World Order (nWo). As a result, Hogan was a big name in the "Monday Night Wars" Another boom of mainstream professional wrestling. He was the main event of WCW's annual flagship Starrcade Starrcade three times which included the highest-profiting WCW pay-per-view event ever, Starrcade 1997
