Johnny Depp

 John Christopher Depp II, born on June 9, 1963, is an American actor. Multiple accolades have been awarded to Depp, including the Screen Actors Guild Award and the Golden Globe Award. He has also been nominated for three Academy Awards, two BAFTA Awards and Platoon (1986). Depp rose to fame for his role as a 21 Jump Street teen idol (1987-1990). Depp was a principal actor in independent films, often with eccentric directors in the 1990s. Cry-Baby (1990), Cry-Baby? (1993), Benny and Joon (93), Dead Man (1995), Donnie Brasco (1997), Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas (1998). Depp was also able to begin his long-running collaboration with director Tim Burton, portraying the protagonists in the films Edward Scissorhands (1990), Ed Wood (1994) and Sleepy Hollow (1999).In the 2000s, Depp became one of the most successful commercial film actors when he played Captain Jack Sparrow in the Walt Disney Swashbuckler series Pirates of the Caribbean (2003-2017). Depp also received praise for his roles in Chocolat (2000, Finding Neverland (2004) and Public Enemies (2008). Depp continued his commercially successful collaboration with Tim Burton on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2006) in which he portrayed Willy Wonka and Corpse Bride (2005) and Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street(2007).
