Giannis Antetokounmpo

 Giannis Sina Umokounmpo (born Adetokunbo, December 6, 1994) was an NBA professional basketball player with the Milwaukee Bucks in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Antetokounmpo was born in Nigeria and was raised in Athens. He began playing basketball in the Filathlitikos youth teams in Athens. Antetokounmpo started playing for the club's senior basketball team in 2011. Then, he was selected by the Bucks as the 15th overall pick for the 2013 NBA Draft. In 2016-17, he was the leader of the Bucks in all five important statistical categories and became the first player in NBA history to finish with a regular season ranking in the top 20 in all five statistics of total points, rebounds assists block, steals, and assists. Two years later, he was awarded the Most Improved Player award in the 2017 season. Antetokounmpo has been awarded six All-Star selections which included being named the All-Star captain in 2019 and 2020 as he was the leader of the Eastern Conference in voting in these two years.One of the most decorated athletes in NBA history,[3] Antetokounmpo has won consecutive NBA Most Valuable Player Awards in both 2019 and 2020 and joins Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as only players in NBA history to win two MVP awards before turning 26. In addition to his MVP award He was also awarded the NBA Defensive Player of the Year in the year 2020 making him the only player following Michael Jordan (1988) and Hakeem Olajuwon (1994) to receive both awards during the same season. Antetokounmpo was the Bucks' first NBA champion since the year 1971. He was also named Finals MVP. Also, he was selected to the NBA 75th anniversary team, that honoured Antetokounmpo as being among the best players in the league.
