Courtney Thorne-Smith

 She was featured on several television shows in the late 1980s, such as Growing Pains, Fast Times and Infidelity. She was also in a number of television movies such as The Thanksgiving Promise, Infidelity, as well as Day by Day in which she co-starred alongside Linda Kelsey, Douglas Sheehan and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. In 1990, she part of six episodes on L.A. Law as Laker Girl Kimberly Dugan.Her first notable TV role was Alison Parker on Melrose Place from 1992 until 1997. In 1995, she starred in a TV movie made for television Beauty's Revenge which was also marketed in CD and DVD form as "Midwest Obsession". Between 1997 and 2000, she played Georgia Thomas on Ally McBeal. Thorne-Smith auditioned initially for the title role on the show, and it was went to Calista Flockhart. She was replaced by Ally McBeal in season 4, 2000. However she has returned the show to make guest appearances. She later said that she had quit the show partly due to pressure to remain slim. "I started undereating, overexercising in a way, pushing myself to the limit and brutalizing my immune system," she told US Weekly. "The quantity of time I would spend thinking about food and getting unhappy about my body was insane. "From 2001 to 2009, she was a character on the show Cheryl on According to Jim. In 2007, her pregnancy was hidden on the show initially, but was then written into the story. On February 18 the 18th of February, 2010, she signed on to play Alan Harper (Jon Cryer)'s girlfriend, Lyndsey McElroy, in season seven of Two and Two and a Half Men.She was in 52 episodes from season seven to twelve.
