Courtney Thorne-Smith

 She was a part of several television shows in the mid-1980s, including Growing Pains, Fast Times and Infidelity. She also appeared in a number of television movies like The Thanksgiving Promise, Infidelity, as well as Day by Day in which she co-starred with Linda Kelsey, Douglas Sheehan and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. In 1990, she featured in six episodes of L.A. Law as Laker Girl Kimberly Dugan.Her first notable starring TV part was Alison Parker on Melrose Place from 1992 until 1997. In 1995, she appeared as the lead in Beauty's Revenge, a movie produced to be broadcast on TV. The film was released on CD and DVD in the form of "Midwest Obsession." After that, she went to play Georgia Thomas on Ally McBeal from 1997 until 2000. Thorne Smith auditioned initially for the title role in the show. The role was then given to Calista Lockhart. The role was subsequently taken by Ally McBeal in season 4 of 2000. However she has returned to the show to make guest appearances. Later, she said that she quit the show because of the pressure to be thin. US Weekly reported that she was eating too much and train too often, and was causing damage to her immune system. "The quantity of time I was thinking about food and being unhappy about my body was a nightmare. "From 2001 to 2009 she starred as Cheryl on the show According to Jim. In 2007, her pregnancy was hidden on the show at first, but was then added to the storyline. She signed up to play Alan Harper's girlfriend Lyndsey McElroy on season seven of, Two and a Half Men on the 18th of February the 18th of February, 2010. She was in 52 episodes from season seven through twelve.
