Jennifer Connelly

 Jennifer Lynn Connelly (born December 12 1970) is an American actress. Following her beginnings as a childmodel and then acting debut in 1984's crime film Once Upon a Time in America. After modeling for a number of years, she chose to focus on acting and appeared in a variety of films, including the film of horror Phenomena (1985), Labyrinth (1986) as well as Career Opportunities (1991) and The Rocketeer (1991). Her work was praised for her role in the science-fiction film Dark City (1998) and as a drug addict in the drama film by Darren Aronofsky Requiem for a Dream (2000).In 2002, Connelly won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Alicia Nash in Ron Howard's biopic A Beautiful Mind (2001). Her films that followed were the Hulk movie (2003) and the horror film Dark Water (2006), the psychological drama Little Children (2006) and the dramatic film Blood Diamond (2006). She also played a role in the science-fiction film The Day the Earth Stood still (2008). Connelly was also part of the romantic comedy He's not That Into You (2009). She was a supporting character in Aronofsky’s biblical epic film Noah (2014) and also in Top Gun: Maverick (2022) and Alita Battle Angel (1914). Connelly has been a regular in the TNT dystopian television show Snowpiercer since 2020. In 2005, Connelly was appointed Amnesty International Ambassador to Human Rights Education. She has appeared in Balenciaga as well as Louis Vuitton fashion advertisements, as well as for Revlon cosmetics. In 2012, she was named the first global face of the Shiseido Company. Magazines like Time, Vanity Fair, and Esquire along with the Los Angeles Times newspaper, have incl
