Jennifer Connelly

 Jennifer Lynn Connelly (born December 12 1970) is an American actress. She began her career as a child model before making her acting debut in the 1984 crime movie Once Upon a Time in America. After being a model for a number of years, she chose to focus on acting and was in several films like the film of horror Phenomena (1985), Labyrinth (1986) and Career Opportunities (1991) and The Rocketeer (1991). Her work was praised for her performance in the science fiction film Dark City (1998) and playing a drug addict in Darren Aronofsky's drama film Requiem for a Dream (2000).In 2002, Connelly won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Alicia Nash in Ron Howard's biopic A Beautiful Mind (2001). Her films that followed were the Hulk film (2003) as well as the horror film Dark Water (2006), the psychological drama Little Children (2006) and the drama Blood Diamond (2006).
