Zendaya was born and was raised in Oakland, California. She began her career as a young model, then later as an assistant dancer. In 2010, she made her television debut on Shake It Up, as Rocky Blue. She also played in K.C. as the main character. for the channel. Her role was a part of the show's Undercover (2015-2018). Her debut as a feature film in 2017 in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Later she was in the sequels. Zendaya was the youngest winner of the Primetime Emmy Awards in Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series (2019-present) for her performance as Rue Bennett, a drug-addicted teenager on the HBO drama series Euphoria. Zendaya's film credits include The Greatest Showman (2017) and Malcolm & Marie (2021). She also plays the character of Rue Bennett on the romantic drama Dune (2021). Zendaya is also interested in music. Her albums include "Swag It Out" and "Watch Me" in 2011.
