 Wonder Woman was created by William Moulton Marston, an American psychologist and writer (pen name: Charles Moulton),[2]and Harry G. Peter. Marston's wife Elizabeth and his relationship partner, Olive Byrne, are considered to be his source of basis for the Wonder Woman's appearance.Wonder Woman is featured in American comics that are published by DC Comics. The Justice League was founded by the character. The character first was introduced in All Star Comics #8 published October 21 in 1941[9]. She also had her first appearance in Sensation Comics #1 in January 1942. DC Comics has published the Wonder Woman title almost every day since then. Her name in her native country, Themyscira (an island nation) is the Princess Diana of Themyscira. When she is absorbed into society outside of her homeland and embracing her civilian identity Diana Prince.Wonder Woman's origin story (from Golden to Bronze Age) tells us that she was sculpted out of clay by her mother Queen Hippolyta and was granted the status of an Amazon as well as superhuman powers as gifts by the Greek gods. In 2011, DC changed her appearance by reclaiming that she was the biological daughter of Zeus and Hippolyta, jointly raised by her mother and aunts Antiope and Menalippe. The character has seen a variety of changes in her portrayal over the years and even lost her power completely in the late 1960s; by the 1980s, the artist George Perez gave her an athletic look and emphasized her Amazonian heritage.She possesses an arsenal of magical objects, including the Lasso of Truth, a set of indestructible bracelets, a tiara which serves as a projectile, and, in older stories, a range of devices based upon Amazon technology.
