Tom Selleck

 Thomas William Selleck (/'selIk/ born on January 29, 1945) is an American actor. His most well-known character was Thomas Magnum, a private investigator in the television series Magnum, P.I. He was nominated for five Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Lead Actor In a Drama Series (1980-1988) and was awarded the Emmy Award in 1985. Since 2010 Selleck has co-starred in the role of New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan in the series Blue Bloods. In 2005, he was the troubled small-town police chief Jesse Stone in nine television films that are based on the Robert B.
