Princess of Wales

 Born in Reading, Catherine grew up in Bucklebury, Berkshire. After her education at St Andrew's School, she went to Marlborough College and then studied art history at University of St Andrews in Scotland. She was introduced to William in 2001. She held positions in retail and marketing and pursued charity work before their engagement was announced in November of 2010. The couple was wedding in Westminster Abbey on 29 April 2011. The couple's children--Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis--are second, third, and fourth in the line of succession to the British throne, respectively.Catherine holds patronage within over 20 charitable and military organisations, including Action for Children, SportsAid, and the National Portrait Gallery. She has projects under The Royal Foundation, with her work for charity focusing on issues surrounding young children, addiction and art. Catherine has created the campaign to raise awareness about mental health Heads Together, which William and Prince Harry launched in April 2016 to help people speak about their mental health. The media has dubbed Catherine's impact on British and American fashion the "Kate Middleton effect". Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people around the globe in 2011 2013, 2012, and 2014. She was named the Princess of Wales on 9 September 2022 by King Charl who is her husband.
