Nikola Jokić

 Nikola Jokic (Serbian Cyrillic, Nikola Jokitsh; pronounced [nikola Jokitc[nikola Jokitc] (listen) was born February 19th, 1995. He is a professional Serbian basketball player and a center for Denver Nuggets (NBA). He has been a four-time NBA All-Star and was named to the All-NBA Team four times, including three selections to the first team. He also took home the NBA Most Valuable Player Award in the 2021-22 and 2020-21 seasons. The Serbian national team was represented by him. He is known as "the Joker", Jokic was selected by the Nuggets during the second round in 2014. He was named into the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2016. The 2018-19 NBA season, when he guided the Nuggets to the Western Conference Semifinals, he received his first All-Star and All-NBA First Team selections. He was given All-Star and All-NBA honours in the following season while leading his team to the Western Conference Finals. Jokic is ranked among the top 10 players on the all-time list of the NBA players with the highest number of triple-doubles (regular season and playoffs) and is the most successful European center and player, and he holds the record for fastest triple-double (achieved in 14 minutes and 33 seconds). Jokic also received a silver medal at his 2016 Summer Olympics.
