Luís Figo

 Luis Filipe Madeira Caeiro OIH was a former Portuguese professional footballer. He was born on 4 November 1972 and played as an winger in Sporting CP. His 127 caps for Portugal are a record but it was broken by Joao Moutinho, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Luis Filipe Madeira Caeiro OIH. He is also known for his creativity and vision. The 106 assists he has recorded are second in La Liga history behind Lionel Messi. 3 He was awarded the 2000 Ballon d'Or, 2001 FIFA World Player of the Year, and also in 2004 Pele declared him to be on the FIFA 100 list of the most outstanding players in the world today. 4. Figo is among the few footballers to have played with both Spanish club rivals Barcelona as well as Real Madrid. His controversial move in 2000 from Barcelona to Real Madrid set a world record fee of EUR62 million.Figo enjoyed a highly successful career, highlighted by numerous award wins which included the Portuguese Cup, four La Liga titles, two Spanish Cups, three Spanish Super Cups, one UEFA Champions League title and one UEFA Cup Winners Cup, two UEFA Super Cups, one Intercontinental Cup, four Serie A titles, one Italian Cup and three Italian Super Cups. He scored 32 goals for Portugal at international level. They reached the final, but finished in the second place at Euro 2004.
