Laura Tobin

 Laura Elizabeth Tobin FRMS (born 10 October 1981) is an English broadcast meteorologist. Before joining the ITV Breakfast program Daybreak, she was employed by the BBC. In the early part of 2014, Good Morning Britain replaced Daybreak. Tobin is the presenter of the weather bulletins. He was born in Northampton. After completing her A-Levels at Duston Upper School in Math, art, and Physics, she was awarded a University of Reading degree in Meteorology, Physics, and Meteorology. [1][22 Tobin also completed a World Meteorological Organization course on climate.CareerOn after graduation in 2003, she was a part of the Met Office. After her training was completed, Tobin was assigned to the Cardiff Weather Centre in October 2004, where she learned how broadcast on BBC Radio Wales. Tobin was appointed to RAF Brize Norton in 2005 to give aeronautical meteorology reports and briefings to Royal Air Force transport crews as well as to the media from BFBS (the British Forces Broadcasting Service). Tobin joined the BBC Weather Centre forecasters team at the end 2007 and started to be featured on BBC News, BBC World News and BBC Radio 5 Live. Tobin also anchored the weather on BBC News at One. On September 3, 2012 she was appointed Daybreak's weather anchor. Tobin was present on BBC Radio 1's "Innuendo Bingo" on 18 July 2013. Good Morning Britain replaced Daybreak in April 2014. 6. Tobin continues to host the weather updates on the programme. The first episode was broadcast on 28 April 2014. Tobin appeared on her first show on 28 April 2014. The song was recorded in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital and was released digitally by independent label Saga Entertainment on 30 November 2018 under the artist name The Celebs. The video premiered exclusively on The Sun on 29/11/2018 and was first broadcast on Good Morning Britain on the 30/11/2018. During an interview with Aled Jones and Russell Watson about their new album, Aled jested "No one is a weather person," Tobin responded by singing a line from the song , which was followed by "Stick that, Aled!" The track peaked at number 2 on the iTunes chart. In 2020, amid the COVID-19 crisis, Tobin rejoined The Celebs and sang the opening lyrics of the Christmas charity song named Merry Christmas Everyone, which was released digitally on December 11, 2020 through an independent label Saga Entertainment. She performed alongside 31 other celebrities on the track, including Sam Bailey, Anna Nightingale, Richard Arnold and Frank Bruno to raise money for Alzheimer's Society and Action for Children charities. The video debuted exclusively on Good Morning Britain, the day after the song was released. The track reached number two on the iTunes pop chart
