American business magnate Lawrence Edward Page was born on March 26 1973. He is also a computer scientist and internet entrepreneur. He is most well-known for co-founding Google with Sergey Brin.Page was the CEO of Google from 1997 until August 2001 (stepping out in favour of Eric Schmidt) then from April 2011 to July 2015 in which he was appointed the CEO of Alphabet Inc. (created to make "major advancements" as Google's parent company),a post he held until December 4 April, 2019. He is an Alphabet employee, board member as well as the company's controlling shareholder. Page has made significant money by creating Google. As per Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Page's net worth is $84 billion as of November 20, 2022. Page is the co-creator and the creator of PageRank, which is a search ranking algorithm that is used by Google. He won the Marconi Prize in 2004 with his co-writer Brin.
