Ken Burns

 American filmmaker Kenneth Lauren Burns was born on July 29, 1953. He is most well-known for his TV series as well as documentary films. The work of Burns is usually made by WETA-TV as well as the National Endowment for the Humanities and is it is distributed by PBS. He also served as the producer in charge of The West (1996) and Cancer: The Emperor of All Maladies (2015). The documentaries of Burns were nominated for two Academy Award nominations (1981's Brooklyn Bridge and 1985's The Statue of Liberty) as well as numerous Emmy Awards.
