Keeso was a part of two CBC television films that focused on Don Cherry. The first, Keep Your Head Up Kid which aired in the year 2010. The second, The Wrath of Grapes II: The Don Cherry Story II was premiered in 2012. He was awarded the Leo Award as Best Male Performance in a feature Length Drama, as well as an Gemini Award as Best Performance by an actor in the Leading Role of an Dramatic Program or Mini-Series for his performance. A series of shorts which featured the Canadian farmer and his struggles has made the channel a massive success.
