 Wingrove comes from a footballing family background. His father, Alan, was a player for Tottenham Hotspur's youth team. Wingrove was also a member of the Arsenal first team squad. Wingrove was told that his size was not sufficient to be able to compete in the professional league. As he pursued a career in football and pursuing a career in freestyle football, he started playing football in order to earn money. He was a player in the youth league of Enfield Town youth level and later semi-professionally with Ware between 2004 between 2004 and the year 2009. Lynch was the very first professional footballer to be signed by an Premier League club. He was a youth player for Enfield Townand then semi-professionally with Ware from 2004 until the year 2009. Lynch says he was told "on the field, you're the best of every club... however off the field, you're among the most ineffective". However there have been some who question this claim due to the inclusion of Robert Pires, Dennis Bergkamp as well as Thierry Henry as part of the Arsenal squad. Fabrice Muamba, who was a former professional footballer who graduated from the Arsenal academy graduate, doesn't remember Lynch being part of the team. He also proved that Lynch wasn't in the academy pictures.
