Devin Booker

 Booker was a player on the junior varsity, varsity, and the freshman basketball teams at Grandville High School in Michigan during his freshman year and then relocated to Mississippi with his father to stay with him following his departure from pro basketball. In August of 2011 Booker was enrolled in Moss Point High School where his father was named assistant coach. Booker had more points than the other players in the fifth game. In December, Booker hit a buzzer beatinger from just outside halfcourt to beat Harrison Central High School. The score was improved for Moss Point by 4-4. 18 Creg Stephenson, the sportswriter for the Press-Register said that Devin Booker, a sophomore guard, was one of the top players in the region during his debut season with Moss Point's Tigers JV. He scored an average of 22.7 points per game. Booker scored 54 points in the game against Northeast Jones High School in the Laurel MLK shootout. He fell nine less than Litterial Green's Moss Point record for the most points in one game, set in 1988. 20) He continued that performance with 32 points in the game against Murrah High School, including the winning three-pointer. He was also named ESPNHS.com Southeast Player of Week. His father told reporters that Booker was being sought by Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Florida.
