It was written by Nick Schenk (based on Nash’s 1975 novel). Eastwood portrays Eduardo Minett, a rodeo actor who is recruited to bring him back to his father (Dwight Yoakam), in Mexico. In the past, numerous attempts were made to make the novel of Nash into a film. In the year 2011, Arnold Schwarzenegger was brought on as a lead actor, however the film was pulled because of an incident. Eastwood revealed the film's adaptation for 2020.
