Christina Ricci

 Christina Ricci (/'ri:tSi/ REE-chee; born February 12, 1980) is an American actress. She is known for her quirky characters that have a darker side, Ricci mostly appears in independent films, but has also appeared in a variety of box office hit films. She has been nominated for a Golden Globe and two Primetime Emmy Awards.Ricci made her debut in film at the age of 9 in Mermaids (1990), which was followed by her debut role as the character Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family (1991) and its sequel Addams Family Values (1993). The roles she played in the sequels, Casper as well as Now and Then, both 1995, established her as an teen idol. Her career began with adult-oriented roles when she was seventeen with The Ice Storm (1997) and was later cast in a variety of independent films, including Monster (1998), The Opposite of Sex (2000) as well as Pecker (1998). Also, she was in Sleepy Hollow (1999), 200 Cigarettes (99), Penelope (2006) and Speed Racer (2008). In addition, Ricci was a part of the final season Ally McBeal(2002) and a guest on Grey's Anatomy (2006). She also starred on the ABC series Pan Am (2011) and was the producer and star of Z: The Beginning of Everything (2017). Her first role was in Showtime's critically-acclaimed series Yellowjackets in 2021. In 2022, she appeared in the comedy-horror series Wednesday.
