The "Chandeliersinger revealed in May of 2020 that she had adopted two teenage boys between 17 and 16. She added, "But they're both doing things that are beneficial for them now, that are really helpful. They're doing lots for their education. In an interview that took place in October 2020, she spoke more about the role of parents. Sia said that the whole system is insufficiently funded and not enough staffed. "And the kids I have now really want to take part in the change, and so I'm trying to provide them the means to do this."
