Anna Cooke Kendrick (born August 9 in 1985) is an American actress and a singer. The actress and singer's Broadway debut came in the 1998 musical High Society. She received an award from Tony for Best featured artist in musical. In 2003, she made her film debut in Camp which was a musical comedy. She also played an important role in The Twilight Saga (2008)-2012. She achieved wider recognition for her comedy-drama film Up in the Air (2009) which won her a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, and for her leading role in the Pitch Perfect film series (201Kendrick was also in the comedy films Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and 50/50 (2011) and the crime drama End of Watch (2012), the musical fantasy Into the Woods (2014), and the thrillers The Accountant (2016) and A Simple Favor (2018). Trolls World Tour (2020) and Trolls World (2016) featured her voice. The actress was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Actress for her part in Dummy the short-form show.
