Steven Tyler

 Steven Victor Tallarico, born on March 26, 1948 is an American musician best known for his role as the lead singer in Aerosmith, a Boston-based rock group. Also, he plays the harmonica as well as piano. His strong vocal range and high voice volume makes him the "Demon of Screamin'". Also, he is known for his on-stage acrobatics. Tyler is well-known for his vibrant androgynous (sometimes androgynous) clothes during his performances. The signature scarves he wears hang from his microphone stand. In the 70s, Tyler rose to prominence as the lead singer of Aerosmith, which released hard rock albums such as Toys in the Attic and Rocks and several smash singles, including "Dream on", "Sweet Emotion" and "Walk This Way". Tyler was recovering of alcohol and drugs in the 1970s. The band's popularity declined as the years progressed. In 1986, Tyler completed drug rehabilitation and Aerosmith rose to prominence again after Tyler as well as Joe Perry joined Run-DMC for the re-release of "Walk This Way" that became a Top 5 hit. Aerosmith made a comeback in 1986 with the multi-platinum albums Permanent Vacation and Pump, Get a Grip. The album produced a total of thirteen Top 40 singles, and the band won many awards. During this time, the band embarked upon their longest tour and promoted their songs with conceptual music videos, and made appearances in television, film as well as video games. In the last decade, Tyler has embarked on various solo projects, including appearances on stage with artists such as Alice Cooper, Motley Crue, Santana, Pink and Keith Anderson, film and TV work, authoring a book, and solo music, including the Top 40 single "(It) Feels So Good" in 2011. After he was injured at a concert in 2009, tensions grew with his Aerosmith bandmates. He had a relapse of prescription drugs in 2009 and signed up for American Idol in 2009. In the over 50 years of Aerosmith, Tyler continues to record and perform with Aerosmith. Tyler's debut solo album "We're All Somebody from Somewhere", was released in 2016. It included the country-rock single "Love Is Your Name". Tyler was a part of the album's promotion with the "Out on a Limb" Tour. Tyler is still performing as a solo artist as well as with Aerosmith and with the Loving Mary Band.
