Meek Mill

 Robert Rihmeek Williams, born May 6, 1987. 2 Also known as Meek Mill, he is an American rapper. Born in Philadelphia, he embarked on his career in music as a battle rapper, and later formed a short-lived group called The Bloodhoundz. In 2008 the Atlanta-based rapper T.I. signed Meek Mill to his first record deal. After the departure of Grand Hustle Records in February 2011, Mill signed with Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group, Miami (MMG) in February of this year. Mill's debut album, Dreams and Nightmares, was released in 2012 under MMG as well as Warner Bros. Records. The album, preceded by the first single "Amen" (featuring Drake) was a top-two hit on the U.S. Billboard 200.In October 2012, Mill announced the launch of his own label, Dream Chasers Records, named after his mixtape series. Meek Mill is often a collaborator with MMG label-mates. The first two songs, "Tupac Back" and "Ima Boss", were included on Volume 1. In 2015, he released Dreams Worth More Than money, his second album. The album also came out as Wins & Losses in 2016. The fourth studio album of his, Championships, was released in November of 2018 and it debuted on the Billboard 200 chart. The lead single, "Going Bad", featuring Drake reached sixth place on the Billboard Hot 100. This was Mill's highest-charting single. Meek's fifth album, Expensive Pain, was released on October 1st, 2021.In November 2017 Meek was sentenced to between two and four years in prison for breaking parole, after which he was released. His trial continues after five months. Amazon Prime Video released a documentary series, Free Meek, which chronicled his battle with the justice system that he was a part of in the summer of 2019. Mill served as executive producer for the show together with fellow rapper Jay-Z. Mill and Jay-Z are also co-founders the nonprofit Reform Alliance, which focuses mostly on parole, probation justice, parole and probation reform.
