James Thomas Fallon was born on September 19th 1974. He is an American actor and comedian. He is famous for his appearance on television as a cast member on Saturday Night Live and as host of late-night talk shows like The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that he started hosting after Late Night with Jimmy Fallon ended.Fallon grew up with an interest in comedy as well as music. He relocated to Los Angeles at 21 to pursue stand-up comedy. In 1998, he was invited to be a Saturday Night Live cast member. This fulfilled a long-held dream. He continued to be in SNL for six years from 1998 and 2004, hosting the program's Weekend Update segment and becoming popular throughout the process. Fallon quit SNL to appear in films such as Taxi (2004) as well as Fever Pitch (2005). In 2009, Fallon was back on television hosting Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, NBC. He is popular for his work on music and video gaming. In 2014, he took over as the 6th host on the long-running Tonight Show. In addition to his television work, he has also released two comedy albums as well as seven books, mostly targeted at children.
