Jessica Simpson

 Jessica Ann Simpson (born July 10, 1980)[2] is an American actress, singer, and businesswoman. Simpson was 17 years old, began her singing career in the church choirs. She was signed to Columbia Records in 1997. Her first studio album, Sweet Kisses (1999) was a huge success, selling two million copies across the United States and saw the commercial popularity of the single "I Wanna Love You Forever". Simpson took on a more mature image for her sophomore studio album, Irresistible (2001), and the title track became her second top 20 entry on the Billboard Hot 100, while the album was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The album This Skin (2003), Simpson's third studio album sold three million copies across the United States.During her previous professional career, Simpson became known for her relationship with and later wedding to Nick Lachey, with whom she appeared on the MTV reality television series Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica between 2003 between 2003 and 2005. Simpson's debut Christmas album ReJoyce was released in 2004, and was certified gold. Her film debut in The Dukes of Hazzard (2005) as Daisy Duke. For the film's soundtrack, she also recorded an original cover version of "These Boots are Made to Walk" She released her fifth studio album, A Public Affair, in 2006, and was also featured in the romantic comedy film Employee of the month. After the release of her sixth album, Do You Know (2008), Simpson moved into the country music genre.Aside from her musical endeavors, Simpson launched The Jessica Simpson Collection in 2005, a line of fashion of clothes and other products. The brand has raked in more than $1 billion in sales up to now. In 2010, she appeared in The Price of Beauty, as she judged fashions for two seasons on Fashion Star. Simpson also released Open Book in 2020, which was a memoir that made it to the top spot on The New York Times Bestsellers List following its release.
