American actor Christopher Robert Evans was born on June 13, 1981. His career began with roles in television series such as Opposite Sex in the year 2000. After appearing in films for teens like 2001's Teen Movies, Evans earned recognition for his performance as the Marvel Comics character the Human Torch, in Fantastic Four (2005), and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans also appeared in films based on graphic novels and comics: TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013).Evans received more recognition for his performance as Steve Rogers / Captain America in a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe films, from Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) to Avengers: Endgame (2019).
