 Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao,"k@'mi:l@/k@'beIoU; American Spanish pronunciation: [ka'mila ka'bejo] born on March 3, 1997; is a popular American musician and singer. Her rise to prominence as a member of the group called Fifth Harmony, which became one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. While in Fifth Harmony, Cabello began to establish herself as a solo artist after the release of the collaborations "I Know What You Did the Last Summer" with Shawn Mendes and "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly, the album achieving number four on the US Billboard Hot 100. The group disbanded in late 2016.Her debut studio album, Camila (2018), was a top-ten album on the US Billboard 200. The Latin music-influenced album was well-received by critics and earned the Platinum certification from the RIAA. The album's lead single, "Havana", topped the charts in many countries which included the UK and the US. "Never be the Same" is the single that followed, was in the top ten on several countries. Cabello's duet in 2019 with Mendes, "Senorita", was her second top single on the Billboard Hot 100. Her second album, Romance (2019), peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 chart, with the single "My Oh My" making it to number 12 on the Hot 100[3and in the top ten of multiple countries.In 2021, Cabello made her acting debut, playing the title character from the film Cinderella. Cabello released her third album, a studio album Familia in April 2022 including the lead single "Don't Go Yet" released in July 2021. "Family's" second single, "Bam Bam", was a top 21 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. It made it to the top five of the Billboard Global 200 Chart. This was Cabello's most successful performance on the chart. Familia was ranked 10 on the Billboard 200. It was also at number 9 in Canada and sixth in the world.
