In 2001, her first principal acting role came in the movie Why Should You Not Be a Film Star? as Jennifer Kruz. D'Orsay followed with several roles in television: Ellen as Doc, Justine in Soul Food and Felicity Fury in four episodes of Ace Lightning.D'Orsay voiced Caitlin Cooke in the Teletoon animated series 6teen. In The Big Bang Theory the show, she played Christy in "The Dumpling Paradox" episode and How I Met Your Mother in the role of Margaret in "The Stinsons". D'Orsay was the "Nestea Girl" in an extended commercial for Nestea's "Nestea Plunge" campaign. D'Orsay was "Nestea Girl" in an ongoing commercial for Nestea's "Nestea Plunge" campaign. She also starred in the role of Paulina Von Eckberg on Nickelodeon's first film The Boy Who Cried Werewolf (2010) and was Kate Walden Schmidt's lover in the TV show Two and a Half Men from 2012 to 2014.
