The film begins with DI West (Spall), interviewing Harvey Miller, (Treadaway) who was targeted by Roper (a criminal). Flashbacks reveal the way Harvey was released from prison six weeks earlier. prison. He utilized prison data to plot his revenge on Roper. Harvey tells us that his friends assisted him to carry out his revenge. He explains the unsuccessful revenge, which he describes as an act of robbery against West. Miller is being reminded by West of a game in which a player who had similar characteristics to Miller was "let down" by his team. There isn't enough evidence to indict Harvey. The recording of the interview was stopped after West went out of the room. Harvey comes back to the room, and discovers Harvey had recorded the events of the robbery during which he retaliated against Roper. Harvey believes in West to assist him in achieving his goals and so he disregards the tape and walks out to the country with his buddies.
