 Taylor Alison Swift, born 13 December 1989 is an American musician and singer. Swift's discography spans many styles as well as her songwriting that is which is often in the form of her personal life has garnered a lot of public attention and praise from critics. Swift was born in West Reading, Pennsylvania and relocated to Nashville at the age of 14 years old. In 2004, she signed an agreement to write songs with Sony/ATV Music Publishing and in 2005, she signed a recording contract with Big Machine Records. The first female country artist to write or co-write an U.S.-certified platinum album through Sony/ATV Music Publishing in the year 2004. The two first country songs to make it to the top of the U.S. all-genre and pop charts included "Love Story" (the first) and "You Are My Friend". Red (2012) included her debut Billboard Hot 100 song number one, "We Are Never Ever Going back Together". The singer abandoned the country genre in 1989 (2014) with the album she released with synthesizers. It was supported by the chart-topping songs "Shake It off", "Blank Space" and "Bad Blood". Reputation is a hip-hop album that featured the top-selling song "Look at What You Did to Me" Me Do", was the result of media attention.
