Peaches (musician

  Peaches was born in Ontario and began her career in music as an artist in the Mermaid Cafe, a folk trio. She formed the rock group Shit in the year 1995. The Shit also released Fancypants Hoodlum, her first solo album in the year. She relocated to Berlin, Germany in 2000 and was signed by Kitty-Yo. The album that followed The Teaches Of Peaches (2000), was released. She opened for Queens of the Stone Age and Marilyn Manson, and she released her third album Fatherfucker (2003). Her songs were used in films such as Mean Girls, Waiting Jackass Number Two and My Little Eye. Peaches songs have been played on television shows such as Lost Girl, The L Word and South Park. She has been featured in Skam, The Handmaid's Tale and 30 Rock. Peaches has appeared as an in-person singer on a variety of songs which include "Oh My God" from the album Pink Try This. "We Don't Play Guitars," from Chicks on Speed's album 99 Cents. "My Girls," from Christina Aguilera's 2010 album Bionic that was written and recorded by Le Tigre and co-written with Le Tigre. "Scare Me," from the album of Major Lazer in 2013 Free the Universe, also featuring Timberlee.
