Airmiess Joseph Asghedom (August 15 1985 - March 31, 2019) was professionally known as Nipsey Hussle (often stylized as Nipsey Hu$$le) was a popular American rapper, entrepreneur, and activist. The rapper was a rising star in the West Coast hip hop scene in the mid-2000s, Hussle independently launched his debut mixtape, Slauson Boy Volume 1, to moderate local success, which led to him being signed to Cinematic Music Group and Epic Records.Hussle became known for his many mixtapes, which included the Bullets Ain't Got No Name series, The Marathon, The Marathon Continues, and Crenshaw The last of which American rapper Jay-Z purchased 100 copies at $100 each. The album he released as his debut studio album Victory Lap that was delayed for several months and released in the year 2018. It received praise from critics as well as commercial success, and was nominated at the 61st Grammy Awards 2019. Two Grammy Awards were presented to Hussle in the Best Rap Performance and Best Rap/Sung Performance categories, at the 62nd Grammy Awards in 2020.
