Nikola Jokić

 Nikola Jokic (Serbian Cyrillic, Nikola Jokitsh; pronounced [nikola Jokitc[nikola Jokitc] (listen) was born on on February 19th, 1995. He is an experienced professional Serbian basketball player as well as a center for the Denver Nuggets (NBA). He has been an all-time NBA All-Star and was named to the All-NBA Team four times, including three selections to the first team. He also received the NBA Most Valuable Player Award in the 2021-22 and the 2020-21 seasons. He's the Serbian representative for the national team. The Nuggets picked him in the second round of in the in the 2014 NBA draft. He is also referred to by the nickname "the Joker". In the year 2016, he was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team. He was selected into the NBA All-Rookie First Team in the year 2016. As he led the Nuggets to the Western Conference Semifinals he earned his first All-Star selection as well as an All-NBA First Team selection. He was recognized with All-Star and All-NBA honours in the following season, while also leading the team to the Western Conference Finals. Jokic is one of the most elite 10 NBA players who have the highest number of triple doubles (regular and playoffs) in which his team was the top European player and center. Jokic is also the world record holder for fastest triple-double , taking only 14 minutes and 33 seconds.
