Jax was selected from NXT to Raw as part of the WWE Draft in 2016. WWE Draft. The result was an unbeaten streak in the face of numerous opponents. Jax also performed a spear against Fox by securing a barricade in the ring. In the rematch, Jax defeated Fox with a pinfall during the Clash of Champions preshow on the 25th of September. Jax was added to Team Raw on the 20th of November when she took part in an elimination tag team five-on-5 match. Becky Lynch eliminated Jax by pinfall. Jax was victorious in the first match against them during the Royal Rumble preshow on January 29th in 2017. Jax lost the following match on March 5, at Fastlane at Fastlane, losing against Jax. Jax also competed against Banks, Bayley, and Charlotte Flair in a four-way elimination match to win the Raw Women's Championship. Jax beat Banks during the gauntlet game on June 26th in 2016. Jax eliminated Emma, Mickie James, and Dana Brooke, before Banks defeated her. Jax took part in an unlucky five-way match on No Mercy to win the Raw Women's Championship but was unsuccessful. Jax was also part of Team Raw's elimination five-on-five tag-team match on the 19th of November and was eliminated by countout.
