This list covers the music artists who have sold more than 75 million records from the 20th century to the present. This list cannot be published publicly, since there is no organization that has recorded worldwide music sales.The tables include the claimed figures as well as their total independently certified units. The units are ranked in ascending order starting with the artist who has the highest amount of claims for sales being at the top. If multiple artists have the same sales figures then they will be ordered according to certified units. The reported sales figure as well as the total number of certified units (for each country) within the provided sources include singles, albums, compilations and compilation albums and music videos as well as downloads of full-length albums. The column of certified units does not include sales figures like the SoundScan figures, which are sometimes published in Billboard magazine.
