Margarita Levieva

 Levieva was born into a Jewish Russian family from Leningrad, Soviet Union (now Saint Petersburg). As young children, both her maternal grandparents were killed during the Siege of Leningrad. Levieva began gymnastics in rhythm when she was three. Levieva along with her twin brother Michael and her mother, emigrated to the United States in 11 years. They moved to Sheepshead Bay (Brooklyn). While she was admitted to Laguardia High School in order to learn ballet, she also went to Secaucus Public High School in New Jersey. Levieva was a full-time fashion buyer, and completed her studies a year earlier at New York University. She also double-majored in psychology and economics, along with minors in philosophy, sociology and Russian history. 5 Levieva has completed the Meisner Acting program at the William Esper Studio, New York.
