Marcia Harvey

 Marcia Harvey is an African-American author, more famous for being the ex-wife of comedic legend and TV host, Steve Harvey. Deciding largely to stay away from the eyes of the media, she leads a very private life. Although Steve hadn’t even reached anywhere near the level of success he enjoys now, they were married for fourteen years. The actual reasons for the couple splitting up were never known and rumors have always been heard in Hollywood. Some attribute it to Steve Harvey’s cheating habits and some to his choosing a different career path like comedy. The tragedy of her life can be traced to the fact that Steve left her and his two daughters, while she was pregnant with their third child. In spite of all the hardships, she herself has forged a successful career in fashion and writing. Her books include ‘Marcia: Eyes To The Soul’, ‘Marcia: Poems From The Heart’, and ‘Marcia: Thoughts From My Mind’. The generosity of her character has become an inspiration to her children.
