In the year 2015, she took part of an image shoot in New York. Someone suggested that she be on Dance Moms with Abby Lee Miller. Ketchman's mother, however, was against the idea of auditioning for Dance Moms due to Miller's fame. After Miller began following Ketchman on social media, Ketchman was asked to upload videos of herself dancing. She was a part of season six of Dance Moms as part of the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) mini-team at the age of seven. Ketchman's first solo performance was "Step by Step" which was a first place performance. In 2017, she was a member of the ALDC Elite team. Ketchman was the first participant to compete in the junior section of the national championship. During season seven, Ketchman placed first in the Spokane, Washington, competition with the ALDC.The only team member who returned for season eight, Ketchman won the overall competition for week 14 by performing her solo "Black Widow"For her solo performance "Straight Up" which aired in week 16 she did the entire performance in a straitjacket, earning the perfect score of 300 and finishing first.[] Ketchman placed third in the junior section and fourth overall with her performance of "Inside Out" at the national competition.
