Lil Wayne

Wayne formed a duo with B.G. in 1995. They released True Story in 1995, that was later released by B.G. (at the time, he was known as Lil Doogie). Wayne was, at the time, was popularly known as Baby D. 8. Wayne, B.G. Then, B.G. and Wayne B.G. were part of the South hip-hop group Hot Boys with Cash Money label-mates Juvenile and Turk in the year 1997. The group launched their debut album entitled Get It How You Live! In October 1999, the group launched their debut album, Get It How U Live! Following the release of Guerrilla Warfare and the single "Bling Bling" The Hot Boys gained popularity. Lil Wayne's solo album, Tha Block is Hot (1999), was his first album to break the charts. Also, he released his fifth and fourth albums Tha Carter (2004), Tha Carter II (2006) (2004), Tha Carter II (2006) Tha Carter II (2006), as well as numerous mixtapes, collaborations and mixes in 2006 and 2007. The album he released in 2006 Tha Carter III (2008) was his first major hit in the world of music. The album sold more than 1 million copies in the first week. The Grammy Award for Best Rap Album was awarded to Tha Carter III. It included the smash singles "A Milli" and T-Pain's "Got Money" and "Lollipop" with Static Major. The latter track was his first single to hit top spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
