Kurt Warner

 Kurtis Eugene Warner, who was born on June 22nd, 1971 was an American former quarterback for the National Football League. He played for 12 seasons in the NFL most of them playing for the St. Louis Rams or Arizona Cardinals. His extraordinary career which led him from a player who was not drafted to two-time Most Valuable Player and Super Bowl MVP is widely recognized as one of the most memorable moments in NFL time. Warner played college football at Northern Iowa between 1990 between 1990 and 1993. Then he spent four years without being included on the NFL roster. In 1994 Warner was signed by the Green Bay Packers. However Warner was let go before the start of the regular season. He instead was a part of the Iowa Barnstormers in the Arena Football League (AFL). Warner was hired by the Rams in 1998. He was an assistant position until he was elevated to the position of starting quarterback in St. Louis in the year following. Warner was the first NFL quarterback to start as a starter. He was the quarterback who led The Greatest Show on Turf to take home Super Bowl XXXIV. This brought him Super Bowl MVP and league honours. In 2001, he was awarded the league's second MVP award. He also played in Super Bowl XXVII for the Cardinals.
