Jimmy Page

 James Patrick Page OBE, born on January 9, 1944 is an English musician from England. He was the founding member and lead guitarist of Led Zeppelin. Page is prolific when it comes to creating guitar riffs. His style is characterized by a variety of tunings for guitar and melodic solos, which are accompanied by loud, distortion guitar tones. It is also characterized by his folk and oriental-influenced acoustic work. He is famous for his use of a cello bow on his guitar to make an eerie sound to his music. From 1966 to 1968 he was an active Yardbirds member. He formed Led Zeppelin in 1968, following the Yardbirds broke up. It was in existence from 1968 until the year 1980. Following the death of John Bonham, Page was a part of a variety of groups of music in the 80s and 90s. This included XYZ and the Firm and also the Honeydrippers and the Coverdale-Page. Page also participated in Page and Plant. Since 2000, Page has participated in various guest performances with many musicians on stage and in studio recordings. He was also a participant in a single Led Zeppelin reunion in 2007 that was released as the 2012 concert film Celebration Day. Alongside the Edge as well as Jack White, he participated in the documentary film It Might get Loud.
