 Ramsey has experienced many years of financial recovery and began providing financial advice to couples at his local church.counseling service,[5] and in 1992 he wrote and self-published his first book, Financial Peace.Ramsey began as the third host of The Money Game on radio station WWTN/Nashville in 1992. The Dave Ramsey Show became Ramsey's regular three-hour call-in radio program. In 1994, Ramsey launched Financial Peace University the nine-lesson, online personal finance class. The Gannett newspaper company featured his financial column, though it was dropped when they realized the fact that Ramsey had changed the names on the letters to which he responded. He offered to pay them their cash back. The Dave Ramsey Show aired on the Fox Business Network from 2007 to 2010.In 2014, The Lampo Group, Inc. was rebranded as Ramsey Solutions. The headquarters of the company is in Franklin, Tennessee, and the new campus of 47 acres was opened in 2019.Ramsey has published five adult books, three of which were New York Times bestsellers, and six children's books. In 2015, he was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame.
