Carson James Wentz, born December 30, 1992 He is a American football player who is a member of the Washington Commanders in the National Football League (NFL). Wentz was a football coach and college player at North Dakota State. He was the winner of two consecutive NCAA FCS National Championships as the team's quarterback. The Philadelphia Eagles selected him second in the 2016 NFL Draft. This made him the FCS's highest selected player. The most notable success of his was as a member of the Eagles in 2017 when he guided them to a 11-2 record. Despite being injured, Wentz helped the Eagles to be the best player in the National Football Conference (NFC). The result was the Eagles winning their first Super Bowl title in Super Bowl LII. He also received the second team All-Pro as well as Pro Bowl honors. He was instrumental in helping Philadelphia get back to the playoffs during his second season, however further injuries kept him out of the playoffs. In 2021 He was traded to the Indianapolis Colts. He played for one season , before being transferred to Washington.
